Ms. Romani alleges there was something “nefarious” about this election and there is: their fearless leader is evil, immoral, rotten, sinful, unethical, unlawful, unrighteous, unsavory, vicious, vile, villainous, wicked, wrong

I was intrigued by the recent candlelight prayer rally for the president and America held last night. These well-meaning individuals seem to have bought their dear leaders’ false assertion that the only way he could lose this election was for the election to be rigged against him.

If all State officials all over the country were on the same ballot, how come their victories are valid, while only his must have been rigged?  I must inform this prayer group that the best peaceful resolution is for the sore loser to concede and go back to golfing on his own dime and declaring countless bankruptcies for his failed businesses. Christopher Hitchens once wrote, “The man who prays is the one who thinks that God has arranged matters all wrong, but who also thinks that he can instruct God how to put them right.”

Ms. Romani in her prayerful fervor is positive that there was something “nefarious” about this election. I looked up this delightful word and found that it describes their dear leader: evil, immoral, rotten, sinful, unethical, unlawful, unrighteous, unsavory, vicious, vile, villainous, wicked, wrong. I wish to thank her for this apt description of her fearless leader. The word nefarious also suggests flagrant breaching of time-honored law and traditions of conduct. Who has been doing that for the past four years? Apparently, the impeached, defeated White House occupant has brought out a plethora of Constitutional law experts in Laredo. Actually, voters and the Electoral College are the ones that decide the outcome of all elections. The media merely reports the results.

Robert Ingersoll stated: “Hands that help are better than lips that pray.” This group is asking God to intercede in an election to put back the most irreligious and amoral president in history. His racist administration gleefully put children in cages and separated families who cannot be found. This rightfully defeated chief executive is morally reprehensible.  His actions have not brought out our better angels, but our worst demons. Since the 1970s 26 women have accused the president of sexual misconduct. He actually bragged about it on his infamous Access Hollywood tape. He has a pending case by one of those victims and by leaving office he will not have DOJ lawyers defending him. The Attorney General in Nevada stated today that all of Trump’s four lawsuits claiming voter fraud in his state have been thrown out by judges. All of them were frivolous baseless claims of speculation of voter fraud. No credible evidence has yet been brought of voter fraud by his highly paid lawyers. In each of those cases, the judge has told these lawyers, put up or shut up. Several months ago, the president proclaimed himself as God’s chosen one. It appears the Almighty chose someone else in this election.
