City of Laredo District 6 hosts 11th Annual Light the Way for Christmas Celebration

The City of Laredo and District 6 Council Member Dr. Tyler King invite the community to the 11th Annual Light the Way for Christmas celebration on Thursday, December 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at North Central Park, 10202 International Blvd.

This cherished holiday tradition brings families, children, and neighbors together for an evening of joy, festive entertainment, and the highly anticipated District 6 Christmas Tree Lighting, which will take place at 6:45 p.m.

Attendees will enjoy school choir, dance, and band performances, visits with vendors, train rides, and meeting Santa and the Grinch aboard the Christmas Trolley. A limited supply of free hot chocolate and Christmas cookies will be available.

Council Member Dr. Tyler King shared his excitement for this milestone celebration. “Light the Way for Christmas has become a pillar of holiday spirit in District 6, and I am honored to welcome our community to its 11th year. This event is about unity, joy, and creating magical memories for families. I invite everyone to join us as we light up the season together and celebrate what makes our district and our city so special,” he said.
