Gateway Community Health Center (Gateway CHC) invites the community to an open house for its West Laredo Clinic, now fully staffed with physicians providing care for the entire family. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 17, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 1702 Lafayette St.
This event is an opportunity for the public to meet Gateway CHC’s newest physician, Dr. Alfredo Equigua, a Martin High School graduate who is returning to serve his neighborhood, along with Dr. Manuel Gonzalez, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Dr. Beth Treviño, Developmental Pediatrician, who specializes in caring for children with complex developmental and behavioral needs.
Elmo Lopez Jr., CEO of Gateway CHC, said this milestone reflects the center’s ongoing mission to expand access to quality care in Laredo: “Our West Laredo Clinic is now fully staffed with physicians ready to serve the entire family. This open house is our way of welcoming the community in, showing them the care and commitment that Gateway provides, and ensuring that families on the west side have access to quality healthcare close to home.”
