The event features professional bull riding athletes who will compete for a prize purse of $7,500 dollars and champion buckle. Athletes from various organizations such as PRCA, PBR, WSPBR, CPRA Cuernos Chuecos and many others will compete for the title of the Buckin’ N’ Rockin’ bull riding champion.
This year’s lineup includes bull riders like Ednei Caminhas, PBR World Champion; and JC Mortensen, Jaxton Mortensen, Winston López, and Gavan Hauck, all PBR / PRCA circuit champions. Also performing in this event are representatives from PBR’s World Cup Team Mexico – Francisco García, Francisco Morales, Javier García, Juan Carlos Contreras and many more. Local talents include Diego García, Ezequiel Martinez, and Gerardo Martinez.
The livestock will be provided by Río Bravo Bucking Bulls of Encinal, HC Thugs Bulls from Bandera, and C-S Bucking Bulls from Louisana.
The 2025 Buckin’ N’ Rockin’ on the Border has been labeled as “Laredo’s Finest Bull Riding” by some of the cowboys competing in the event. It’s the first time in Laredo that a bull riding event has a substantial payout and great bull riders performing.
