The continuing circus of the accused criminal fraudster and his clown Marjorie T. Greene

One of the best westerns of all time was the original Magnificent Seven (1960). The film features Yul Brynner as the Mexican village’s savior, and Eli Wallach portrays the Mexican bandit, Calvera. At some point in the film both men meet in the village to discuss an end to their stalemate. Calvera is bragging about having gone to Texas to rob a bank. He tells Brynner “Once I robbed a bank in Texas. The government sent a whole army to look for me. A whole army for one little bank. Apparently, in Texas, only Texans can rob banks!” 

I was reminded of that scene when the Republican crazy of crazies Marjorie T. Greene again made a complete fool of herself at the recent State of the Union speech by President Biden. Dressed like a circus clown, she proceeded to disrupt President Biden countless times, screaming “Say her name!” referring to a young woman in Georgia who was recently killed by a Venezuelan immigrant. With thousands of school shootings every year in our country, Ms. Greene chooses to ignore the slaughter and defend the Second Amendment. This is the same person who, before being elected to Congress, followed a Parkland schoolshooting survivor, calling him a coward for supporting red flag laws in Washington, DC. She was apoplectic at the President’s speech that evening because she felt that if a person is in this country illegally, they should not commit any crimes. I will wager that she has never uttered the names of any US children slaughtered by US citizens every month for years. She has not blamed “mental health issues” about the alleged killer. Apparently only legal US citizens can kill other US citizens without a peep out of Margie.

It is apparent that her choice for President is the accused criminal fraudster who is showing obvious signs of dementia at his daily rallies. The presumptive nominee for the most powerful office on Earth is still telling his cult followers that President Biden defeated Barack Hussein Obama in the last Presidential race. He apparently listens to the voices in his head before opening his mouth. The former President’s most disturbing threat occurred at a rally in Ohio where he told his adoring crowd that if he didn’t win the presidential election this year, it would mean a bloodbath for the country. He repeated that threat twice, adding that it would be the least of the problem. My hope is that one of the many judges overseeing his multiple trials would order his Marshals to pick him up, revoke his bond, and let him spend the next few months in custody without access to a cellphone or his social accounts like any other defendant in his position would be treated.

This man is a clear and present danger to Democracy and the government of the United States. Astonishingly he begins each rally with the MAGA version of our national anthem. His demented anthem praises all the January 6^th defendants and lovingly calls them patriots and “hostages.” These are the same seditionists and rioters who stormed the Capitol at his behest. This is the same wannabe dictator who used the term American Carnage in his inaugural speech. Who is his speech writer, one may ask? Stephen King?

As part of his race-baiting rants, he calls migrants “vermin” who are “poisoning the blood” of our country. He also throws out the term “animals” as he has done over the years. Those speeches are reminiscent of past dictators in Germany and Italy who dehumanized fellow human beings. It is obvious that this sad individual has never owned or loved a pet animal. Animals are sentient creatures who love all around them, bring out the best in their owners, comfort us in our hour of grief, and love us unconditionally. Having grown up in the woods and having owned countless dogs and cats, I can assure you that there does not exist greater love than between humans and their pets and even animals in the wild who show care and love for each other and for their young. I’m sure most animals would be shocked if they learned that Trump was referring to hundreds of thousands of refugees as animals.

Trump never misses an opportunity for a photo-op. In a shameless appeal to his racist base he went to Georgia and had a picture taken with the deceased lady’s family, holding up her photograph which he had autographed. He had the biggest smile when the photograph was taken. Back in 2018, after the horrendous massacre of scores of Latino shoppers at a Walmart in El Paso, he also had a picture taken with parents of children that had been killed and also had the same toothy smile and his ever-present thumbs up.

His MAGA audience cheers wildly at all his vulgarities. Trump would never pass an FBI background check. If it wasn’t for his office as Commander in Chief, he would never be granted a security clearance as all government employees are required to pass.

Now that Trump owes almost a half billion dollars in fines to the state of New York, who will be willing to pay his fines? Russia? Saudi Arabia? China? North Korea? Will he be sending out love letters to all these dictators telling them that he will reward them with whatever secret intelligence documents he stole when he left the White House? Apparently, his own family who made millions off his name are unwilling to loan him any money to pay off his fines. Should he win the presidency, Trump would be obviously open to bribery or blackmail.

It is obvious that there is only one dangerous breed on planet Earth. That would be humans who hate and have no compassion for fellow human beings suffering.
