The Laredo Film Society will host a two-day analog photography workshop Aug. 26 and Sept. 2. It will be taught by Gaebril Velasco of Don’t Be Negative Photo Services.
The workshop focuses on the use of a 35mm photo camera and how to develop film. Topics include the parts of the camera and their functions, aperture, f/stop, focus, developing, and scanning.
The historic Plaza Theatre will be a subject for photos. The first half of class will be in the classroom and the second half will be hands-on. The $30 fee includes materials.
The class, which will be held at the LFS headquarters at 510 San AgustÃn, runs from 4 to 8 p.m.
