TAMIU counts down to 9th Annual Discover TAMIU tomorrow

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) will celebrate its family-friendly 9th Annual Discover TAMIU event Saturday, April 1, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m The event is dedicated to highlighting the excitement and discovery made possible at the University.

Over 150+ activities are planned throughout the 300-acre campus. 

All events are free and open to the community. Event highlights include free showings at the Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium, TAMIU Baseball Games, DIY crafts, rock painting, Loteria, slime creation, therapy dogs, mini-golf, obstacle courses, chemistry demos, and more.

The University’s Ballet Folkórico, Spring Dance Days, Spirit Cheer and Dance, Mariachi Internacional, and more will also offer music and dance sequences.

Now in its ninth year, Discover TAMIU follows five distinct, segmented ‘pathways’ that attendees can enjoy and explore, with events categorized under each pathway. These include pathways like Artistic Avenue, Spirited Speedway, the International U, Business Boulevard, and Scientific Journey. Through these activities, individuals can engage with the University meaningfully while enjoying campus life.
