The District Attorney’s Office is promoting its 14th Annual Designated Driver Initiative: Make the Right Call. The initiative is part of a continuous commitment to reduce and prevent impaired driving.
On Super Bowl Sunday, February 12, 2023, the DA’s Office will offer free taxicab rides from any public establishment between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
For the past thirteen years, thee office of District Attorney Isidro Alaniz has collaborated with International Taxi Company to coordinate this safety measure.
The DA’s Office is urging all football fans to plan ahead and call (956) 723-9177 from any local establishment for a free taxi ride home.
