The City of Laredo and Strategic Government Resources (SGR) invite the community to share input on the qualities the individual who will serve as the next City Manager. A town hall meeting for that purpose is set for Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 6:00 PM at the Laredo Public Library.

SGR is the company selected by the City Council to assist in the recruitment of the currently vacant position of City Manager.

As part of the process, the City Council has asked SGR to facilitate a town hall meeting to secure community feedback to further identify the unique culture, needs, and desires of the organization and community to assist in the marketing and recruitment of Laredo’s next City Manager.

Information gathered at the meeting will be used to develop a Position Profile Brochure which SGR will use to market the position, as well as to assist the firm in evaluating applicants and best identifying individuals who most closely match the desired background and experience of the final candidates for consideration.
