Webb County Commissioner Rosaura “Wawi” Tijerina and the Webb County Commissioners Court invite the public to the 2022 Breast Cancer Awareness Month Proclamation Ceremony in honor of women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 3 at the Webb County Courthouse, 1000 Houston Street, 2nd Floor.
Attendees are encouraged to wear pink as a sign of support to those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and to honor those who have lost their battle.
“Cancer touches so many families across the country. It is up to all of us to continue fighting for a cure and to ensure that every American has access to the quality care they need. When we raise our voices together, we help spread the word about the importance of breast cancer screening and support,” said Commissioner Tijerina.
