In collaboration with Texas A&M Agrilife and Better Living for Texans, Literacy Volunteers of Laredo will sponsor an Introduction to Gardening course that begins Friday, March 4 at the Ladrillito Activity Center at 2018 San Ignacio Ave.
The six-week course, which will be conducted by Javier Alonso, convenes on six Fridays from 1 to 2 p.m.
Hands-on coursework covers the basics of gardening. Soil, plants, pots, and seeds will be provided. Call (956) 724-5207 to register.
