The City of Laredo Commission for Women (LCW) is accepting nominations for the 2020 Laredo Women’s Hall of Fame. Nominees must have been active in the category for which they are nominated, and their service must have been performed within the city limits of Laredo.
Nominees must fall into one of 10 categories stipulated — fine and performing arts; business/professional; education; civic leadership/public service; philanthropy; volunteerism; law enforcement; healthcare; legal; and military.
The application deadline is Friday, January 3, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. All applications must be either mailed or delivered in person in triplicate to City Secretary José A. Valdez Jr. at 1110 Houston St., Laredo, Texas 78040.

The Laredo Commission for Women will present its recommendations for the 2020 Women’s Hall of Fame to the City Council on January 20, 2020 for approval, and honorees will be recognized at a media reception in March 2020.
