She will discuss her recently released novel, Cabañuelas.
Dr. Cantu is the Norine R. and T. Frank Murchinson Endowed Professor of Humanities at Trinity University. Her earlier works include Transcendental Train Yard: A Collaborative Suite of Serigraphs, Canícula: Snapshots of a Girlhood en la Frontera, and the coedited anthology Entre Guadalupe y Malinche: Tejanas in Literature and Art.

Dr. Norma has been an inspiration to all of us that go way back to high school. Her books and platicas are legendary all over the country and over the pond in Europe too.
