Local non-profit LearnThink Media hosts live registration for summer filmmaking camps May 25

Local non-profit LearnThink Media will host live registration on Sat., May 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for anyone interested in Lot 31’s summer filmmaking camps.

The event will take place at Lot 31 Studios, 201 E. Hillside Road, Suite 14 (Colonnade II Square at Hillside and Springfield)

Registrants for one or more summer filmmaking camps, will get a chance to win raffle prizes (one ticket per camp per child). The raffle will be held live on Facebook at 1:30 p.m.

Registration will be for the following camps open to children ages 8 to 17:

  • Short Film Camp: June 17 – 21
  • Stop Motion Animation: June 24 – 28
  • Water Texas Film Festival Camps: July 8 – 12 & July 15 – 19

The cost is $275 per camp. Students are welcome to sign up for any camp. They should feel free to bring their own costumes and props. All films created at LearnThink Media’s 2019 summer filmmaking camps will be premiered at the inaugural Youth Vision Film Festival Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Alamo Drafthouse from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students will receive a free t-Shirt, Youth

Vision Film Festival Badge and a ticket to the premiere.
