The Boys and Girls Clubs of Laredo Wine Tasting turns 21 this year with a Las Vegas themed gala.
The annual fundraiser, which helps the Boys and Girls Clubs of Laredo fulfill its mission of recreation and education for 30,000 Laredo children, is set for February 9 at the Laredo Country Club from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The three clubs serve children from the ages of four to 12.
This year’s celebration features an assortment of California wines, an open bar, buffet dinner, a live and silent auction, live entertainment, and dancing to the music of the 10-piece Miami-based band Alter Ego. The group includes five female singers and dancers, two male vocalists, and three all-around musicians.
Admission is $500 per couple. Tables for 10 are available for $2,500 and $5,000. The black tie gala, which is an official event of the Washington’s Birthday Celebration, has reportedly sold most of its 45 tables.
