DWI Court graduation set for Jan. 16

The Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI Court Program will hold DWI Court Graduation ceremonies on Wednesday, January 16, at 4 p.m. in the County Court-at-Law II Courtroom.

Judge Victor Villarreal will preside over the graduation of DWI Court participants who have successfully completed all terms of the twelve-month requirements.

The participants are eligible for graduation, and successful discharge from the program that requires attendance at AA meetings, DWI classes, counseling sessions for substance abuse, and abstinence from illegal drugs and alcohol.

Justice Liza A. Rodriguez of the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals is the commencement’s keynote speaker.

The DWI Court Program is committed to promoting safety in Webb County by increasing sobriety.
