The County Court-at-Law II DWI Court Program took its mission to reduce drunk driving and promote safe, sober lifestyles to the Fort McIntosh campus of Laredo College on Thursday, Nov. 8.
DWI Program director Arnoldo Lozano and case manager Victor Vasquez III addressed the responsible indulgence of alcohol over the holidays and the dangers and consequences of drinking and driving.
Lozano and Vasquez staffed an information booth in the Kazen Center to share alcohol awareness and encourage students to be responsible and designate a sober driver, or use the services of a taxi, Uber, or Lyft.
The DWI Court Team also encouraged students to relay the message to friends and family members.
Student Life Coordinator Elva Boubel coordinated County Court at Law II’s outreach to Laredo College students.
