The Laredo Immigrant Alliance (LIA) will host its first-ever Fall Festival on Saturday, October 27, from noon to 6 p.m. at Holding Institute at 1102 Santa María. Organizers say the festival will offer an important opportunity to create awareness and support for the immigrant community. The festival marks LIA’s first year anniversary.
The festival will include kids’ activities, educational booths, informative speakers, Know Your Rights presentations in English and Spanish, live music, food, and vendors who will sell arts and crafts. There will also be a raffle prize giveaway.
