Jamboozie 2018 promises not to disappoint with this year’s lineup of food, fun, and most importantly, entertainment. Laredo Main Street president Enrique Lobo and Jamboozie chair Hector J. García announced that the musical entertainment for this year’s lively street party will be Grammy Award-winning Norteño/Tejano Grupo Solido, which along with Ricky Naranjo y Los Gamblers and 20 local musical acts will fill the event’s other three stages throughout the Downtown District.
UETA Duty Free’s Stage 1 at the corner of San Agustín and Hidalgo features The 3 Bills, Bajo Silencio, The Five Ohs, and Laredo Collective.
Guerra Communications’ Stage 2 at the corner of Flores and Lincoln, will feature Big Buck Country and Z93 on-air personalities and a DJ Dance Booth.
Stage 3, which is sponsored by the Outlet Shoppes, features Ricky Ram, Morgan Ashley, and Frank Rey.
Stage 4, which is sponsored by Falcon Bank and the International Bank of Commerce, features Hector Gamaliel, Ricky Naranjo y Los Galmblers, and Grupo Solido. Stage 4 is situated in the San Agustín Cathedral parking lot.

The UETA Mayor’s March Parade — which begins at 9 p.m. at the City’s Iturbide St. parking lot and features Mayor Pete Saenz, elected officials, Equality Texas Walkers, a mariachi band, stilt walkers, a drum corps, skate boarders, masked drummers and dancers — will wind through downtown gathering momentum and followers.
The evening’s food fare prepared by vendors and food truck cooks will offer many satisfying choices, including hotdogs, funnel cakes, paletas, gorditas, enchiladas, and helotes.
A kiddie section will entertain youngsters who attend.
Tickets are available in advance for $5 at all UETA Duty Free locations, the Outlet Shoppes of Laredo, several International Bank of Commerce locations, Mike’s Western Wear, and the Laredo Main Street office. Admission at the door is $10.
