The Laredo Immigrant Alliance (LIA) invites the public to an August 2 panel discussion on immigration issues. The event is set for 6 p.m. at the Laredo Public Library multi-purpose room.
Mayor Pete Saenz is the event’s guest speaker. Members of the panel include attorney Israel Reyna; Holding Institute director Pastor Michael A. Smith; and DREAMER Berenice Gonzalez. Topics will include immigrant rights and local policy.
