Military veterans who hope to find their futures at Laredo Community College this fall are invited to attend a Student Veterans Orientation Wednesday, July 26 at 10 a.m. in Room 217 of the Kazen Student Center.
Hosted by the Student Financial Aid and Veteran Affairs Services Center, the orientation will provide important information veterans will need before beginning their academic careers at LCC, as well as give them the chance to connect with fellow veterans.

Participants will learn more about the educational process, student services, the work study program, payment rates, updates to the Hazlewood Act, and the military peer network. Participants also will be able to receive information on local resources available for veterans.
The orientation is open to new and returning LCC students.
For those students who have not yet enrolled in classes, staff will be on hand to assist them complete the registration process.
Registration for the Fall 2017 semester is under way. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 21.
