Leo A. Rodriguez, senior vice-president and Laredo branch manager of Capital Farm Credit, shared the good news that El Centro de Laredo Farmers Market is the recipient of a donation from the Farm Credit Bank of Texas. According to Sylvia Bruni, executive director of Laredo Main Street, which operates the certified Farmers Market, the funds will allow the market to continue expanding its services and products. Every third Saturday of the month, the Farmers Market transforms Jarvis Plaza into a thriving venue for homegrown produce and products.
